Bug Report OBS Studio lagging all of a sudden

So one day I turned on my computer, opened up CS and then tried to stream but CS was running at like 55fps, I have a gtx1080 and get around 300 at least at 1440p, then when streaming, the fps counter on the program is reading around 20 and my game is unplayable due to the lag. I have tried re-installing obs studio and so forth but nothing has seemed to work...Please help...

Dude if CS was running at 55fps before streaming then its not an OBS problem. You log just showed dropped frames from GPU which means something is causing your graphics card to run extremely slowly.

Also your settings are terrible, you should be streaming at 720p60 (downscaled in video tab NOT output tab) and you should be using the x264 encoder at CBR of around 3000, and change your CPU preset to around fast. (if you go slower it will use more CPU but have better quality and if you go faster it uses less CPU but worse quality.

Can you upload an updated logfile with the settings C-Dude recommended so we can get a better idea of what is going on with recommended twitch streaming settings.

By the way, I noticed you have a 64 bit version of Windows 10, you should try the 64 bit version of OBS Studio.

Would anyone have some suggestions for settings I should use to make this work every time reliably while getting the best quality possible?
