Bug Report OBS Studio keeps freezing

This is my first time writing on these forums but I have a problem that i simply don't understand how to fix.

So obs studio 20.0.1 (both 64 bit and 32 bit) start just fine and seem to work. Everything goes well until i do few clicks and try to start setting up some scenes. OBS simply just freezes and I can't do anything with it. Only thing i can do is close the program through task manager. I have checked crashes folder but nothing appears there.

Here is a link to the latest log:

I know this was posted a while ago but did you ever manage a fix? Mines doing the same thing and I have done everything I know to try and fix it but to no luck. Any findings?

I'm also having the exact same problem. Have used OBS Studio (64bit) forever. In fact, I was just streaming on Friday. Then on Saturday, as soon as I opened OBS Studio, it would freeze every 30 sec with and/or without me streaming. No changes have been made on my PC (no updates of any kind). So strange...

Okay, why is this thread full of people with the same problem, and nobody else has said anything? I'm also having this problem now!
The program freezes after I:
Try to change the properties on any sort of video source. Often the preview box is pure white and the program freezes as soon as I click.
Try to transition scenes. I'm in Studio mode.

I haven't really been able to experiment with much else... because the program keeps freezing!

I've turned my PC off, switched it off in the back, unplugged it, plugged it back in, switched it back on and booted it back up. This didn't fix anything. I've tried running my capture card software then exiting it before launching OBS. I've tried exiting the capture card software after launching OBS. I've tried reinstalling OBS. I've tried changing the input to the capture card. The capture card software works fine by itself, but I could go on...

Could someone please help me (and anyone else who still has this issue) figure this out?

Edit: Have I found the answer?

I reinstalled on my N:/ drive. It seems to be working, but the plugin I've reinstalled isn't working now. (Stream Effects OBS) I won't try to install any others until I know that one is working.

The problem is, the installation on C:/ is still broken. Hypothetical solution for everyone: Delete everything OBS on the drive you run OBS off of, and then reinstall it there.

I'm too lazy to test this theory right now, though.
