I'll start with my pc build.
PC Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
Ram: 8GB 2400Mhz
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
Stream KB/s: 6000
FPS: 60fps
I have a dual PC stream setup. My question/problem is a simple one. Is the Ryzen 5 1600 capable of 1080p 60fps streaming? If not 1080p then maybe 720p? With the medium preset. I tried everything from medium down to veryfast on both 1080p and 720p and all options give me encoding overload or dropped frames due to encoder. Some less than others of course. I am using NDI to capture my gaming rig. I'm not sure if this is causing the encoding issue or if the cpu is simply not up to the task. Also, will a capture card provide better results than NDI? In other words, if NDI is causing the issue, will a capture card help?
If a log file is required I will provide one, but as I just need an answer about the CPU and NDI I don't think it's necessary. If this is in the wrong thread, I'm sorry. Still new to posting on these forums.
