OBS Studio: How to install plugins?

Greetings

1. I downloaded and installed OBS studio from package manager
2. How do I install a plugin for the application from a place such as this? https://github.com/kounoike/obs-virtual ... tag/v1.2.0

3. I went here for tutorial but I couldn't find the proper directory? https://elan-ev.github.io/opencast-obs-plugin/

4. I also found this tutorial https://obsproject.com/kb/plugins-guide but I couldn't find the plugins directory? I only found this: /home/john/.config/obs-studio and there's only 5 folders in there but none strictly PLUGIN folder, but there is plugin_config

5. I also downloaded this file: https://github.com/kounoike/obs-virtualbg/releases/download/v1.2.0/obs-virtualbg-1.2.0-Linux.deb but when I ran it, the system told me it was already installed? I tried to follow tutorials like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wTSYd7vV30 but I could NOT find any references to "virtual background" in my application during the tutorial steps?

Here's my system information:

The final structure should be something like ~/.config/obs-studio/plugins/<pluginname>/bin/64bit/<pluginname>.so

It is saying its already installed

HOWEVER:

When I try to follow the steps to make virtual background none of those things are listed in the FILTER sections? Only chroma is listed?
