Obs Studio game capture freezes after PS2 screen

Hello,

I am using a Elgato game capture HD with a PS2. The TV works fine and obs works fine at the PS2 menu. As soon as I load into a game the OBS capture freezes at the PS2 symbol. The game audio will play while the game is frozen. I have tried other consoles like PS3 and they work fine

Yeah both PS3 and PS4 work fine.

For PS2 I am using the other category as there is no PS2 category. Then I have component selected, and use the cable that came with the elgato game capture hd.

Both my PS2's have the same issue. At the ps2 screen before the game starts it freezes. Audio will continue as normal. Tv everything looks fine.

May try other usb ports when I get home from work. I duno

Very strange, my PS4 set-up keeps lagging in record. What settings are you using in OBS?
