Question / Help OBS Studio - FPS dropping ;-;

So on most of the games I've been playing recently my frames drop whenever I open games from 60fps sometimes down to 18fps and then keeps fluctuating to 20, 30.

I've enabled vsync in these games and it's not helped enough.

I've uploaded my log for anyone who can make sense of it

Specs:
Windows 10
Intel Core i7-7800X 3.50GHz
16gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 4726 (19.6%)

This means, there is too much load on your GPU. OBS needs ~10% GPU load to render your scene, before it will be encoded.
Windows 10 creator update and creator fall update will not prioritize OBS on your GPU, so the only way to make sure that your game will never use more than ~90% GPU load is to limit your ingame fps.
You said, you already tried Vsync...either it was not working (in that case the game will still run with more fps than your monitor refreshrate), or the GPU load simply was still to high, in which case you could reduce some ingame details..
My suggestion: Check if Vsync is working (if so, you should see max 60fps ingame on a regular monitor). If this is not working, set an fps limit and if that will not free up enough GPU power, you might need to reduce ingame details.

Remember that reducing ingame details will only help, if there is an fps limit.
