Question / Help OBS Studio FPS Drop

So whats happening is i open up the game im about to record open OBS it says everything is great im getting 60fps and as soon as i click back on to my game it drops like a rock to 3-5fps which is crazy please help me out i believe this is the log you need.

In addition my game has no lag it is running great no FPS lose its just on OBS it also happens if im not recording.

Open OBS with your GPU instead of your integrated graphics (there should be a setting somewhere in your control panel/driver settings)

Next you need to post a log with a recording in (record for a few minutes then stop wait a few seconds then click upload current log)

I suspect if opening OBS with your GPU doesn't work that turning on Vsync or capping your games framerate to 60 will work. This should free up some resources for OBS to encode with.

Make sure the video connector is connected to the RX 480.

The video connector sends picture from the graphics card to your monitor. It may be connected to the wrong GPU.

He means open OBS with your GPU instead of you integrated graphics. Like I mentioned above. It could be because your monitor is plugged into your motherboard directly instead of your GPU but it could also be changed in the driver.
