Question / Help OBS Studio Doesn't Open (process is running)

Occasionally I have the problem where OBS Studio won't open the GUI. The process is running in the task manager. Ending the process and attempting to open OBS Studio doesn't help. When I get to this stage, the only thing that seems to work is restarting the PC or sometimes logging out and back in.

I've read numerous threads on this, but the solutions provided didn't seem to apply to me.

The log files are stored in this directory: %APPDATA%\obs-studio\logs
