Question / Help OBS Studio does not capture headset audio - no fix anywhere on Google

Lately I've been having trouble with my OBS not capturing my headset audio, but it captures the audio coming out of my laptop speakers just fine. The only thing I can do to fix it is go to Playback devices and disable laptop speakers and make my headset audio the default device, HOWEVER sometimes that doesn't even work. Sometimes I can just be doing that over and over for an hour and it'll (seemingly) randomly work on the 30th time of trying, however doing this every time I open up OBS just for it to capture my headset audio is becoming incredible frustrating and I do not understand why this is an issue.

Looking at the log file OBS has no trouble loading up and connecting to my headset but again it is just not capturing it. 19:58:29.434: WASAPI: Device 'Speakers (Logitech G430 Gaming Headset)' initialized
There's no error saying my headset doesn't work or anything, my headset didn't update with any unknown or new drivers, and OBS classic captures my headset audio flawlessly but my capture card doesn't show in OBS classic so I have to use OBS studio.

I've tried googling this issue but only found an issue to some Razer headsets but that seems entirely unrelated to my issue. If anyone could please help that would be amazing!

Change your capture card's sound settings to capture only and if you absolutely need sound from it use audio monitoring.

You may be dealing with USB overload though.
USB problems? Get USBView from https://obsproject.com/downloads/usbview.zip to identify which hubs your devices are connected to. Move bandwidth-hungry devices like webcams and capture cards to separate hubs by switching their USB ports.

Okay, I unplugged everything from my USB ports, even my mouse. EXCEPT for only my headset and then I relaunched OBS studio. Still no audio.
edit: let me clarify that audio comes out of my headset perfectly fine, it's ONLY OBS Studio unable to capture it.

Woops posted wrong log, here's the right one: https://pastebin.com/VMZv4ySL

XSplit seems to capture everything flawlessly, but I prefer OBS Studio more. I'm not exactly sure why OBS Studio has a problem.

Are you using virtual surround in your headset?
Nope. My headset is Logitech G430 Gaming Headset, I've used this for years with OBS and only seem to have an issue as of this past week. OBS Classic doesn't even have this problem only Studio.
