Question / Help Obs Studio crashing on Ryzen

The black screen is likely to be graphics card driver issues.
At this stage I would go and download the latest drivers for your graphics card, then run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) utility to remove all traces of your previous graphic driver installations. DDU can be downloaded from the below link:
https://www.wagnardsoft.com/
After running DDU utility (Run DDU and choose the option to reboot into safe mode, letting it turn off Windows Driver Install Update) choose the option to uninstall and reboot, following the subsequent reboot proceed to install the latest graphic card drivers that you downloaded.

USB drivers can also be a cause of black screens/freezes/hangs. Make sure you have installed the USB drivers for your motherboard from the below link:

I did format and clear installation of windows today, because I already did reinstall of my drivers with DDU some time ago and it didn't help.

I was happy I thought finally it's ok, but after almost 10 hours of stream, when I launched ending video it crashed after few mintues...

I also created new scenes and everything since my previous folder of OBS had like 1 gb, but it didn't help either.

Should I change now SSD or CPU? :[ Maybe it's GPU?

Disable XMP/DOCP profile if you use that. Ryzen here is just terribly unstable on any kind of preset profiles. It really needs custom timings. And yeah it's total crap that it is this way.

@vapeahoy how should I know how to set it etc then? What timings should I set, MHz for ram, and all voltages since i recently had some problems with that. You think it might be problem because I have set it docp profile?

100 % positive.
Ryzen hates memory that isnt insanely timed "correctly". It can't handle fast memory sticks at all.
I switched out 4266 sticks for a slower 3200 kit that i have even managed to boot ok to 3600mhz but it needs more then 1.5v to be stable so just running it at 3200 atm. And even then, even then it can't handle the stock xmp profile at 3200cl14, sure it boots ok, it seems to be stable, then Into a OBS slow sessions it just crashes, the system can't handle handle the load over time. Cpu tested prime95 stable, system still crashes if underclocking cpu, with memory that has too tight timings. or rather, and i mean this literally timings that the ryzen cpu simply doesn't like, because in fact it should be able to just work, and it simply doesnt. Even calculating it should work, it cant handle it.
What I would recommend is to do what i did, copy FlareX timings, which are horribly slow, and just accept it and hope a new bios comes along that fixes things more.
I am sorry, but ryzen just completely sucks for low latency ram. It's been a huge disappointment to me. And i have 2 of these ryzen machines. Should be a post on reddit or overclockers where someone posted their FlareX timings. Also try ProcODT at at least 53.x ohms. Im not 100 % sure even my timings are stable yet, but i did run a 9hr sessions other day just to see if it would crash, and it did not. Stock failed within the hour on slow preset on xmp.

This all with a watercooled aio on cpu btw, and cpu is NOT overclocked, turbo mode OFF.

Two days it worked good, then it crashed again while streaming. It crashed with chrome and streamlabels.
Interesting thing is it crashed again while showing alert from subscription.
Something must be broken I think, I think I’ll change PSU now, and try to stream for few days, then maybe SSD or CPU.

Last three days: three crashes.
2 while showing subscription alert,
1 while playing media source: ending video.

Obs crashed with chrome and streamlabels (every app launched in windows)

Does OBS crash without the subscription alert and media file?

I think it used to crash randomly, not 100% sure. But now, like last three or four crashes happend when showing alert or media file, that's for sure.
