Question / Help OBS Studio crashes just after booting.

Hello,

I have run into a problem where OBS studio will crash shortly after launching. I was able to record gameplay footage with no issue in the past few days so I am not sure what caused the issue.

I updated to the latest version of Elgato Capture software and it still crashed, what should I try next?

Full uninstall of the elgato then install the latest. It's still crashing in the elgato software

Is the error fault showing in msvcr120.dll a mislead? The recommended fix when that's corrupt is reinstalling visual c++ redistributable. If reinstalling elgato doesn't fix it, maybe give that a go, but if I'm wrong then alas. The reinstall of visual c++ is not difficult or dangerous, so you might want to try it.

You need to read the full thread trace. the crash is still in elgato components.
