Question / Help OBS Studio Crashes Computer?

Whenever I try to record my screen with OBS Studio, I bluescreen with WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, and get an American Megatrends error saying "CPU Overheated. Press F1 to continue."
I have a 6 core AMD Phenom II processor (I know it's old and I should probably replace it).

Yeah, I was sort of hoping there is a way to tweak my settings in OBS or my computer to make my CPU not overheat? Or should I get new thermal paste/a new CPU?

There are plenty things that can cause overheating.
Do a Google search..

Check your CPU fan and make sure it's running...
Check the CPU heat sink isn't clogged with dust.

Download Speccy from Piroform and run it..It will tell you your temps etc..It's a free program.

Issue solved, got a new CPU and cooler :P
