OBS Studio 30.2.3 (64 bit) cannot record Fullscreen Slide Show presentation (shows black screen) in LibreOffice Impress 24.8.1.2 on Windows 11 x64 Pro.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download the latest free open-source LibreOffice 24.8 at https://www.libreoffice.org
2. Launch LibreOffice Impress 24.8 and create or open any presentation
3. Start a Slide Show by clicking F5 (or menu Slide Show → Start from First slide)
4. In OBS Studio → Sources → Window Capture – Properties try to choose an open window with the presentation Slide Show in Full Screen mode (Window field starts with: “[soffice.bin]: Presenting:”)
5. Notice that when capture method is “Windows 10 (1903 and up)”, the screen is black (blank), both in preview and in actual recording.
6. When capture method is “BitBlt (Windows 7 and up)”, oddly enough, OBS Studio captures LibreOffice Impress window that is “behind” Fullscreen Slide Show. Which is the presentation opened in editing mode, with many small slides in the list on the left, one slide opened for editing on the right.
7. It seems OBS Studio is unable to work with the API used by LibreOffice Impress to invoke Fullscreen Slide Show on top of currently opened presentation (current window).
Perhaps, it is the limitation of the Windows API itself that makes it more difficult to record in Fullscreen mode.
8. Similar problem was reported with Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Show: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/powerpoint-slideshow.65201/
“as long as the PPT slide show is in full screen mode, OBS does not seem to be picking it”
“I added the display capture as a source but the window is black”
9. Manually choosing “Power saving” vs. “High Performance”, as recommended by https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965, does not help, likely, because both options seem to be powered by the same “Intel Iris Xe Graphics” on the laptop.

Can anybody else reproduce the problem with the latest OBS Studio and LibreOffice Impress/Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows 10/11 x64?
Is there any workaround that would enable OBS Studio to record Fullscreen Slide Shows in LibreOffice Impress and Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows 10/11 x64?
Thank you.
