OBS Studio 33.0 Beta is now available for testing. Give it a try and send us your feedback!

This major release comes with an update to CEF (the framework we use for browser sources), a complete overhaul of the plugin loading architecture which should lead to a more stable and consistent experience when installing and updating plugins, source snapping improvements, UI cleanups, and NVENC support comes to our Arm64 experimental builds.

To enable the beta version, either download from the GitHub link below, or on Windows/macOS go to Settings -> General and change the Update Channel to Betas / Release Candidates

For other ways to install the beta:

To access the beta via Steam, right-click the OBS Studio entry in Steam or click the cog icon on the game page, select "Properties...", then navigate to "Betas" and select the "beta" option in the dropdown:

Ubuntu users: You can try the unstable branch with the following commands:
Bash: 
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:obsproject/obs-studio-unstable
sudo apt update
sudo apt install obs-studio

And if you want to remove it:
Bash: 
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:obsproject/obs-studio-unstable
sudo apt update
sudo apt remove obs-studio

To use the beta version from Flathub, please use the following commands:

$ flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub-beta https://flathub.org/beta-repo/flathub-beta.flatpakrepo

$ flatpak install flathub-beta com.obsproject.Studio

On both OBS 32.2.2 and 33b4, this option is disabled on my Apple Silicon setup. (Mac OS 27.0.1)

I'm no longer on Discord, but on starting up OBS 33b4 a dialog appears with the following information regarding scripts that are not running (and it's right, they are not).

I can confirm the new hot key for Audio Monitoring is working, and with Stream Deck too (as long as OBS Studio is the active window).

There’s no crash log as it didn’t crash the program, simply when I started up OBS a dialog box appeared with the above content inside it. That was it
