OBS Studio 28.1.2 Update Source changed lagging

We updated our OBS Studio to 28.1.2 this morning and now our sources are lagging badly. Camera angles are glitchy and slides from ProPresenter are not keeping up.
 
My recordings are lagging heavely also... idk why tho... i didnt change anything...

When my recordins is ON then everything works smooth, tho when i end my recording and want to check out how well recording is - videos have huge lags!
 
I had the exact same problem after updating, reinstalling with an older version, and configuring all my settings. it worked. I again upgraded and it started lagging again. The simple fix that worked for me is to just run OBS as administrator.
