Hello

I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro and installed the latest OBS Studio 26.1. When I installed it, the Base Canvas doesn't show 2560x1440 option.

But if I uninstall 26.1 and install 25.0.8 the 2560x1440 option is available. Also if I update to 26.1 from 25.0.8, thru OBS software, the base canvas 2560x1440 option is there.

Just thought of reporting it.

25.0.8

26.1 upgrade from 25.0.8

Clean Install of 26.1

I have the latest Nvidia driver for my RTX 2080 non super. Also I have all the windows 10 updates installed.

Thank you

I don't know why it's missing, but you can always type any resolution manually in the input field. You are not restricted to the values in the drop down list.

Looks like you might have some DPI scaling options set that cause a compatibility layer to be inserted that changes reported resolution.

Yes I use DPI scaling all the time. I've got DPI scaling on previous OBS studio software releases never had this problem. I must admit I don't update to the latest OBS studio releases. May be I should start doing that more often, to provide testing support for the community

Just reporting
