Question / Help OBS Studio 23.1 crashes on launch - May 2019 Windows 10 Update?

Hi all

First time poster.

I've come to use OBS for the first time today since installing the May 2019 Windows 10 Update and it crashes on launch. Done the usual shutdown/start and restart, and reinstalled OBS, but haven't been able to fix it.

I've looked in the crash logs and it appears to be kernelbase.dll that is causing the issue.

I've attached the crash log but if anybody else has seen this, and knows how to fix it, your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

David

I experienced the same problem. After Windows 10 update, it crashed on startup for OBS version 23.2.1.
I also tried the latest release candidate (OBS version 24.0 RC5) and it crashed the same way on startup.

OBS version 23.2.1 was working fine before the Windows 10 update.
And no, I didn't install anything else on the computer, no driver updates or anything. (Nothing outside of whatever Windows 10 update installs)

Any plan to fix this issue for the next RC?
