Question / Help OBS Studio 20.1.1 Crashing as soon as I open it.

Hi guys, this is my first thread post so if i'm missing something please let me know. I have had OBS studio for a very long time but all of a sudden when I updated the program it just started to crash as soon as I open it. I have attached the crash file to the post. Please let me know what i need to do next to get this resolved.

At minimum uninstall and reinstall their software. Possibly uninstall and leave it uninstalled.

That's not a realistic nor helpful solution. Make sure you've updated the Elgato software (check for updates in their app) -- there was a big important update w/ pushy notifications that causes mine to hitch when I postpone it.
If not resolved, unplug/remove your Elgato capture card from your system, reboot, and open OBS. Remove the source from your scene. Close it, open it and close it a few times to make sure it's working (assuming it's not crashing now). Reboot again. Open OBS, re-add your source and hopefully be good to go.

Or if you have it added as a source and it's not plugged in already, that could also be your problem - plug it back in and remove the source.

That helped out a lot, hopefully it doesn't crash again

My OBS crashed twice last night, then I finally got it running for a little bit but, with no picture (tried the different "captures" and I don't use a card). I've been using this software for almost 2 years now, what do I do?
