Question / Help OBS studio 20.0.1 Integrated Webcam Not Working

Hello,

I have been searching for weeks for the answer to my problem. My integrated webcam on a windows 10 x64 system does not show up / shows a blank screen when on OBS studio 20.0.1 or anything past the 18.0.1 update. It works perfectly fine in all other programs, and I'm able to use the webcam freely on 18.0.1 but as soon as I update, I have the same issue of not being able to use the webcam. The light DOES turn on and stay on, but I am unable to see a preview. I just get a blank grey box/red marker in OBS.

I have tried:

Uninstalling integrated webcam driver (Device Manager)
Updating Windows 10
Running Administrative mode
Deleting and re-adding the scene in OBS
Adjusting the resolution settings.

I have also attempted opening the webcam program while in OBS, but I get error error code 0xa00f4243, which means OBS is using the webcam, but I am unable to actually see it.

I have no problem continuing to use 18.0.1 but wanted to use some new features in 20, so any help would be appreciated.

This is from the log earlier today when trying to add a new webcam scene

Why do you have multiple sources pointing at the same webcam?
And do you have bitdefender?

Hi! Thanks for any help you can give.

I deleted and added them in one scene, but not in the others. I have now deleted all webcam sources from all scenes and re-added it and now I have this in my log:

[DShow Device: 'Webcam'] settings updated:
04:07:42.820: video device: Integrated Webcam
04:07:42.820: video path: \\?\usb#vid_0c45&pid_64cb&mi_00#6&350c5589&0&0000#{65e8773d-8f56-11d0-a3b9-00a0c9223196}\global
04:07:42.820: resolution: 1280x720
04:07:42.820: fps: 30.00 (interval: 333333)
04:07:42.820: format: MJPEG
04:07:42.822: DShow: HDevice::ConnectPins: failed to connect pins (0x80040207): The owner SID on a per-user subscription doesn't exist
04:07:42.822:
04:07:44.255: Webcam: DecodeDeviceId failed
04:07:44.255: Webcam: Video configuration failed
I do not have bitdefender as far as I know. When searching for it in my start menu, only internet sites pop up.

I still don't have an answer for this, so I'm currently using 18.0.1 which works, but I'd like to update as it is very laggy. If there is anyone with a solution for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have AVG. If this is the problem, I'd like confirmation on that as well :)
