Question / Help OBS Studio 17.02 + AMF 1.4.3.8 cannot capture dx10 game

Greetings

sorry to ask for assistance, but i could never get studio to capture a game called

Hellgate London
its a dx10 game running in x64
it shows as a capture specific window
but only shows a black screen, all other games work fine.
obs classic in amf works perfectly
i have not tried a x264 varient.

i made a new scene for it no change in result

I had to alter my scene for forza horizon three theres a small gear icon you can go into to setup which window to record I previously had blackscreen now I have the stutter problem as per another thread.

appologies, yes now it works. curious why does it fail in my other collection?
and is there a way to make it work and use the old collection?

Because you have multiple game capture sources in the collection and they're tripping over each other.

i just duplicated and made a collection for each game. thanks

its back to being black screen again. it only showed the game once.
am i going to have to create a new collection each time i launch the game>?


it appears obs has a hard time to hook the game

even making new or duplicating collections doesn't work

i should also state i am running amd driver 17.1.1 on an asus 295x2

shouldn't it be hooking d3d10?

game is capture-able in the DX9 engine of the game. obs will not hook properly in DX10.
