Question / Help OBS Studio 0.16.2 Record button not working with AMD encoder.

I have recently come back to wanting to use OBS to record my gameplay. I downloaded and installed the latest version of OBS studio, remembered how to set it up from a few years ago, and began to run a test to see if i could record my display first then move over to gamecapture. So i went about setting up the scene and source and all of my settings. I set them all up as I remembered them being and began to start my test. I can see the preview off the screen in the OBS window with my mouse moving and everything else I do. However when I click the record button inside the OBS window (not using hotkeys) nothign at all happens. No message to say it has failed or anything. I have tried changing many different setting and values but nothing seems to work. I have save the log file and uploaded it with this thread, can someone please help me get my setting correct to be able to record my gameplay.

*Update* I have been able to record but only using the x264 encoder but its skipping alot of frames. I can either have the encoder capture all the frames but they are all blurry and completely unable to view or the images are perfect but there is alot of framerate dropping. I have tried alot off different settings for the x264 encoder but would prefer to use the AMD encoder since I have two Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Graphic cards crossfired giving me alot of GPU power which i believe would solve the framerate issue I have with the x264 Encoder.

You should not be using the Media Foundation version of the AMD VCE encoder. Use the AMF one, which is included in OBS. And you also can't encode that high of a resolution on the R9 270x.
