so the thing is, i can never seem to get my settings for streaming right, when i want to stream on 1080p i cant get it smooth it's always a bit blurry and most of the times i get lagg when on 1080p, i stream on Twitch.tv btw.

my specs
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Motherboard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Upload: 24.36Mbps

i think i should be able to stream on 1080p right? or is there anything wrong with my system..

usually i got my OBS settings on 2000/2300 bitrate
and my x264 CPU preset on Fast or Medium

i appreciate any help i can get,

2000kbps bitrate is generally not enough for 1080p and because of that bitrate limitation you should consider downscaling to 720p with lanczos filter. This should solve both your problems.

this cpu is by far not able to handle 1080p30 on fast or medium preset.

since you have not the really needed bitrate to stream 1080p i'd suggest 720p30 and your 2k bitrate and then use the fast preset this should be possible with your cpu (depending on the game obviously)

yeah i can put up the bitrate i think with 24mb upload right?
i thought this cpu was pretty good.. ;o
anyways the problem is there are so many people streaming with such sharp quality, even the not partnered people, so i figured i should atleast get my stream sharper..
i will try out some more settings that you said!

thanks so far :)
