Bug Report OBS Streaming Higher Bitrate than set

Updated plugin, but still seems to be streaming above the set 1600 (again, this was happening with OBS Studio & Classic..was working perfectly until the other night)
 
Well, you need to take into account your audio bitrate being sent as well. That can make up the discrepancy, as the default is 160kbps
 
and I believe mines turned down to 96. I'm going to stream for a match of Smite, and ill post an updated log. It's still sitting at 1800 when set to 1600.

Now raising as high as 2100, what the hell is going on :/
 
Where are you seeing the bitrate fluctuation?

Please keep in mind that the playback rate is not the same thing as your streaming bitrate, if that's what you're looking at.
 
Where it tells you, on the bottom right. I dont have playback/preview enabled. I can feel it when it jumps from 1500 to 2200 and my game will just lag out.. so it's fair to say im looking at the streaming bitrate, I believe.

Twitch's Inspector confirms I was hosting up to 2649 bitrate at peak, with an average of 1628.. even though I had OBS set to stream at only 1600
 
Can you try a different encoder? AMF is probably the issue here, but I don't know enough about it to assist further as I don't own any AMD products.
 
I've experienced this beheaviour today and just found some old posts like this one.
My Bitrate was set to 4500kbps with a max bitrate of 8000kbps and audio bitrate of 320kbps and it spiked up to 18000kbps! (displayed on the right bottom corner.)
I'm using my Radeon Pro 560 for encoding where possible(Stream and Camera Input). Before I had the usual fluctuation around 4/5000kbps and felt safe to stream tomorrow.
I had to relaunch OBS and it spiked again, but went to normal after a while. I must say I didn't notice many dropouts in the stream and after relaunching OBS it started out with dropping around 90 frames before returning to my expected beheaviour.
Was there ever a solution here?

Was streaming NDI(OBS Camera) wirelessly from an iphone to my router-wired mac and up to vimeo using OBS for the first time and I'm a little worried about tomorrows show. Some Help would be appreciated!
