Question / Help OBS streamed fine, now showing only black screen or menu freeze

I recently downloaded OBS and streamed Halo Spartan Assault to Twitch in 1080p. The stream was perfectly fine, however after attempting both Saints Row the Third and Resident Evil 6, the stream is either a black screen or crashes somewhere in the menu. I have dropped my resolution down to 720P and the frames down to 30. This does not help in any way. I am confused as to why it has stopped working all of a sudden, as other than the resolution and FPS changes as an attempted fix, i have not adjusted the settings in any way. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'd like to get to the bottom of the issue, thanks.

Try the latest test build for me with these particular games. I believe saints row 3 and 4 may still have some unique issues.

Thanks for replying, however i have recently found a fix for this issue. After some research i realised OBS does not fully support fullscreen capture and running games in windowed works fine.

No no, game capture is designed to capture fullscreen games, but It just doesn't support saints row 3 and 4 at the moment is what I was trying to say
