Question / Help OBS Stream Lagging After Adding Webcam

Streaming went fine the first few days I did it, just got a Logitech C920 and since adding it my stream freezes every 3-4 seconds (apparently its smooth when not frozen).

OBS said 65% of frames were dropped.

Is your USB webcam on the same USB controller as your USB wireless adapter?

Wireless isn't usually suggested for streaming, and in this case I'd say adding the cam is causing your USB network adapter performance to suffer.

Yes it was, I just moved it to a different one. Wireless is the only option I have at the moment, unfortunately.

Still getting lag, upped the bitrate to no avail. Still massive frame drop/freezing for my viewers

Your WiFi connection is too poor to stream properly. Make sure you're connecting to 5 GHz only, the speeds in the log suggest 802.11n which will be too congested in most areas.

I see, nothing I can do about that for now I don't think... does that also explain why the stream worked fine without cam and poorly with it?
