Question / Help OBS Stream Lagging After Adding Webcam

10:42:35.472: Output 'simple_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 130988 (21.4%)

07:52:13.280: [rtmp stream: 'simple_stream'] Interface: Realtek RTL8811AU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB 2.0 Network Adapter (802.11, 72 mbps)

Is your USB webcam on the same USB controller as your USB wireless adapter?

Wireless isn't usually suggested for streaming, and in this case I'd say adding the cam is causing your USB network adapter performance to suffer.

Yes it was, I just moved it to a different one. Wireless is the only option I have at the moment, unfortunately.

Your WiFi connection is too poor to stream properly. Make sure you're connecting to 5 GHz only, the speeds in the log suggest 802.11n which will be too congested in most areas.

I see, nothing I can do about that for now I don't think... does that also explain why the stream worked fine without cam and poorly with it?
