Question / Help OBS stream awfully pixely at some points

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core 3.50ghz

RAM: 16GB

GPU: ASUS GTX 950

So I've been streaming with CPU encoding on ultrafast as my CPU isn't the greatest(CPU usage is way too high if I make it lower, even one down can make it unstable at some points) and it was definitely watchable with no issues but then I added a webcam to the stream. After this my stream didn't seem to be as good due to my camera looking terrible. I tried to use GPU encoding (which doesn't seem stable quality but can look amazing at times) and also tried higher bitrate and I can't seem to fix it.

Basically, how can I make my stream consistently fine with a 'not-so-good' CPU but okay internet (I have 6 upload) as the gameplay is fine, yet the camera becomes pixely to the point of it being unwatchable :( (I usually stream Vanilla World of Warcraft)

ultrafast is the thief. Are you streaming 60 or 30 fps?

Sorry but your pc will only manage 30 fps. 60 fps on ultrafast looks pixely for sure. 60 fps on high or medium will look good. You will need to buy a better cpu in order to get better quality. I would go 30 fps with faster in presets with that setup if its even possible.

Okay I can try that, just didn't want people to be watching a 30fps stream :D

This is also why I try and use GPU encoding since CPU doesn't seem to work well for me. I do need a new CPU :(
