OBS stops working if I use multiple audio tracks and fractional FPS higher than 60

Hello!~ So I'm trying to record Minecraft gameplay with three audio tracks and 240 FPS. Using one or the other alone works fine, but OBS just completely stops working when I use both of these features at the same time. By "stops working" I mean the record button just reads "stopping recording" but never actually saves it. From there I have to close out OBS using task manager. On rare occasions, the recording does save, but ends up being all choppy and messed up. Could I please have some help with this issue? Thank you, guys :))

This is a known issue, using 240 FPS doesn't give the audio encoder enough time to encode multiple tracks and one of the reasons why > 60 FPS is not recommended.

Okay thank you so much for the help!! Do you know of any way I can fix this issue? Possibly by using an external software in coloration with OBS? I'd really like to be able to record in a higher frame rate but I need a way to record my audio.

Recording above 60fps is entirely at-your-own-risk and is not a supported use-case. You can get the same smooth-motion effects recording at 60fps and just using interpolation in your video editing suite.

Some Minecraft YouTuber keeps recommending high-rate recording to new users.
Really want to slap them as it causes PROBLEMS, and is entirely unnecessary.
