Bug Report OBS stops responding & requires restart after mic terminates!

Hey guys
I've been having a really unusual issue recently with my stream & no idea what could be causing it! Whats happens is I'll be a few hours into my stream & all of a sudden my mic gets all distorted & robotic sounding & then it stops working, so everytime this happened I tried to disable mic in settings in order to re-enable it in the hopes that it refreshes, however OBS studio stops responding completely, after closing it down with task manager, I tried opening it repeatedly, however the OBS interface didn't seem like it was appearing so I checked task manager & there was loads of the OBS64 program apparantly open, only restarting the PC seemed to fix it, happened 3 times during an 8 hour stream at random intervals, please help! One of the logs: http://pastebin.com/0NFj1PRj (same as attached file)
(Will have a few more logs stored if needed)

[I also put a delay on it in the mixer (to sync it with game audio) if that helps]

I have streamed with this exact setup many times before without this happening & so have no idea why this has all of a sudden started occuring out of the blue, I do use a dedicated streaming PC but I doubt thats the issue as my mic is connected to the streaming pc via my mixer & audio interface (see diagram: https://imgur.com/UHI0nCs) & since OBS doesn't even respond or re-open I'm sure the issue lies there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. If OBS crashes it tries to write out a crash log. This can take some time. (Also the process can just hang). If you've tried to kill the process, give it a couple of minutes to see if it closes correctly).
2. USB devices going crazy are usually a sign of poor drivers and/or USB overload (doubtful in your case) and/or CPU overload.
3. Scarletts and AMD MOBOs seem to have some weird issues at times. You're not the only one in these (and other non-streaming/gaming) forums to have that combo and have issues.

Looking at your log, I do see some CPU overload, and even though it's slight, it could be enough to throw off a (semi)pro USB audio interface. Order of things I would do:

1. Try updating ALL your drivers (including the Scarlett, and the AMD chipset drivers). If that doesn't help...
2. You might want to try increasing the latency on the Scarlett (if that's possible)...
3. And if that doesn't work try lowering your encoding/CPU usage in OBS.
