Question / Help OBS Stops Recording on its Own..why???

Okay so basically I am new to the whole recording game play and videos, but recently and i mean since last night, my OBS wont record my game play at all. Only once did it actually record a 30 minute video. However before and after that, it did not. It has been recording my vlogs and other stuff just fine but for some reason when i run Slime Rancher or the Forest to record, it shuts off just under a minute. I do not understand why when I was recording both these games just fine a week ago. I looked all over the forums and Google but i cannot find a solution to this problem so that is why I am posting this now.
If i cannot find a solution, I guess i will have to use something else instead.

a few things about my pc:

its a Toshiba Satellite L55-b laptop
Intel(R) core (TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz 2.40 GHz
Ram is 8G
x64 based processor, 64bit operating system

I am using Windows 8.1

This is what I have to work with for now and up until last night, I had no issues. But because of that, I am unsure if anything is incorrectly set up either. I do not hit the hotkey for this to happen as i set it out of the way on the keyboard. Can anyone explain this to me?

also i don't know what a log file is and OBS doesn't really say anything with this problem.

yes but like i said above, i have it somewhere i don't push buttons and the games i play, don't really use much keyboard keys, its mostly the mouse and adsw movement. but the hotkey is literally far away from that. So that is not why.

Have you tried disabling the hotkeys to make sure it's not some windows oddity with such keys causing it?
