Question / Help OBS stops recording at random times

That's not a crash report, that's a log.

Do you have a hotkey assigned to the start/stop record option in OBS? Usually when someone has this issue, it's because they assigned a keyboard shortcut to the stop stream hotkey option, and then assign that same key to something in the game they're playing/program they're running.
 
Oh okay thank you I'll try this. And also I have my stop and start recording buttons as the same thing, could that maybe be the cause of it?
 
I'm having the same issue, however I think it may be because my computer got too full. I have the the .flv and when I tried to convert it to .mp4 it stops before I stopped recording. I really wanted the end of this file, is there any way to fix this? I can put up logs if you need them.
 
Tom if your drive filled up, then OBS didn't record the missing part, and you can't get it back. Don't run out of space when recording.
 
Turtle: I don't know of anyone having trouble with assigning the start and stop hotkeys to the same keyboard shortcut. You could try setting them to different keys just to make sure, but I think the issue is that you're hitting the stop key (accident or otherwise) while you're using another program.
