OBS stopped working after laptop crash – stuck on BIOS with beeping sounds

Hi all,
I'm having a serious issue after my Dell laptop fell. Since then, it only boots into the BIOS screen and doesn't go further — Windows doesn't load.

Also, I’m hearing repeated short beeping sounds, which I assume is a hardware error (RAM or motherboard maybe?). Before the fall, I was using OBS without any problems for basic screen recording.

Does anyone know if this could affect the drive where OBS was installed? Or if there's any chance I can recover my setup or recordings?

Appreciate any advice — especially from those who've dealt with hardware issues after a physical drop.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I’d really like to try and figure this out on my own first before taking it to a repair shop. If anyone has tips or similar experience, I’d really appreciate the help.

Look in the BIOS if the main drive (C:) is detected, same with memory. If not, it could be as simple as a damaged boot sector, some sectors got corrupted, or the drive is dead, a damaged RAM stick, or other hardware issues, even if it do detects the drive or RAM. Either way, get to a computer tech support as pointed above.
