Hey everyone ive tried running 32 bit, tried updating the elgato driver, tried running different/older versions of both obs and elgato and still no luck. It just wont detect the elgato in video capture. It works fine when i open up the Game capture program but obs just doesnt find it.

And ive opened up my task manager and doesnt look like elgato is being used by anything else. i know there is no issue with the card itself because when i plug it into my other computer it captures just fine with obs

I'm having the same issue. I know the Elgato's drivers are installed properly (Their software has no issue picking it up), but in OBS ,Version 0.14.1, I go to Video Capture Device and nothing shows up. I restarted my PC several times (in between steps of my troubleshooting), I tried updating OBS, Uninstall and reinstall, Uninstalled and reinstalled Elgato's drivers (made sure Elgato was updated of course) And finally tried to uninstall and reinstall both on the same restart. Nothing popped up and I'm back to the same spot. I used to use OBS and Elgato together in the past, I had a lot of issues, but it worked after every PC restart and deleting the "Video Capture Device" and recreating it. Here's a pic on what I see in OBS with it's properties.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit, 16 GB Ram and I7 4770

Like I said, I used to record with it in the past, but I don't remember what versions of both I could use.
If there's anything else I can provide, please let me know. Email notifications are turned on.
Also if this is not in the right thread, or this is already resolved, Please help me redirect my question. Thank you!

[Update]

I've performed a fresh install of both softwares. I returned to OBS version, 0.13.1 and 2.3.3.38 for Elgato HD. The Elgato shows an image now, but unfortunately it keeps saying "One moment please...". Booting up OBS could capture the Wii U (I saw Smash4 and could record), but it cut off about 4 minutes later and it never returned. Shutting OBS and reopening it allows me to see my game again, but it's a cycle at this point...
