Question / Help OBS Sound Issue- Super Loud

for the last little bit I've been having issues with OBS' sound. No matter how low I put my sound or how far away I put my mic it still sounds like I'm eating my mic majority of the time. anyone have any idea on how to fix this. I've even played around with my sound knobs on my headset too no use.
