Hey all, I wanted to share this as I recently ran into this issue and couldn't find a solution. My OBS software was working prior to a computer reformat (Dell), and I installed the latest OBS 64x software, and then my google Chrome browser would not show in the OBS software (black screen only). I put a tutorial together:

Basically you go to Settings > Advanced > then unclick one of the browser settings. The video is very detailed. And I had to do the same thing with the browser. 100% fixed the problem. I was so frustrated I tried other software, but after I figured how easy/intuitive OBS is, I returned and spent about 4 hours trying to fix the problem.
