Question / Help OBS + Skype - two webcams the solution?

Not having two webcams on hand to test myself, figured asking here would be the fastest. Looking into it for somebody else and such.

I'm aware that if OBS is taking input from a webcam then another program can't use it (such as Skype transmitting to whoever is on the call). Is the simplest method to just use a second webcam for Skype to transmit to others in the call? First webcam going to OBS for Twitch streams, in this scenario. As long as there isn't some wonkiness that causes a program to claim all available webcams I'd imagine two cams should work.

I've read about extra stuff like Manycam, but aiming to use the good ol' K.I.S.S - Keep It Simple, Stupid.
 
You could use a 2.cheap webcam and just select the different ones in OBS and Skype or use the OBS-VirtualCam Plugin to send the OBS output itself as a virtual webcam into skype(only classic desktop version not the win 10 app version).
