Hello and thank you in advance for your support.

I have set up a 2 PC streaming set up (specifications below) using the Elgato HD60 Pro. Everything works except for stuttering in OBS. Streaming to twitch looks like trash but that's another bridge I will cross when I get this OBS Stuttering issue fixed.

THE ISSUE:
OBS Studio 21.0.1 (installed on the streaming PC) stutters every 3-4 seconds. The issue should be easier to identify given that there is NO stuttering if I open the Elgato Game Capture HD application. There is only stuttering when I close Elgato Game Capture HD and open OBS Studio

Details:
-OBS 'Video Capture Device' is set to the El Gato Game Capture HD, using device defaults

Gaming PC:
~Processor - Intel Core i5-7600K @3.80GHz
~RAM - 16.0 GB
~System type - 64 Bit
~GPU - GTX 1060

Streaming PC
~Processor - i7-8700K
~RAM - 16.0 GB
~System type - 64 Bit
~Motherboard - ROG STRIX Z370-I Gaming
~GPU - whatever is on the motherboard (no peripherals as apparently not required according to many people)

Here is the video I used to complete the hardware and software setup (very good)

Change your audio type back to capture only and if you need audio from the elgato on your system, use audio monitoring instead.

Thanks so much! This fixed the problem right away. Can you do a noob like me a favor and point me to OBS audio monitoring information? I don't know what that is yet. With Capture Audio Only, I cannot hear my game through my headphones while playing. Also should I plug my microphone and headset into the streaming PC or the gaming PC? RIght now they are plugged into the gaming PC.

To use the Audio Monitoring feature, click Edit -> Advanced Audio Properties and set Audio Monitoring to either Monitor Only, or Monitor and Output. Monitor Only will not output that device's audio to your stream/recording. Audio for that device will be played out of your system default device, unless otherwise specified in Settings -> Advanced.
