Question / Help OBS settings new computer

So the settings ive been using isnt all that doing well, it lags around and it just doesnt look good, i dont remember the settings i used before this but they worked fine, i used other softwares and they worked even better than this one expect with file size. I'd just like to know good settings for my specs.

Graphics Card: GeForce GT 630

Processor: Intel(R)Core(TM) Quad CPU Q8400 @ 2.67Ghz

Ram:6GB

Are you trying to stream or record? If you're trying to record, you should just update to studio and use the presets.

well i followed ur advice and your right! this was much easier to configure and much more compression AND better quality and not much frame drop. Keep it up this is the best ive seen
