Hello, Im having problems streaming Dota 2. Twitch doesnt record my complete sessions and there is always like a 15 mins delay whenever I check my channel after finishing a game. I have been going with 1800 bitrate, im new at this so Im not sure its the right setting for my upload speed. Would appreciate any help, thx.

PC specs:

CoreI7
4GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 660
Upload speed: 0.8Mbit/s

Unfortunately you're pushing a bit low with the bitrate. When you have that type of internet connection it's more about carefully testing values to see what works and what doesn't by trial and error. Not more than 30fps, probably 2.0 downscale or more, and keep lowering the bitrate until you get both low ping in dota 2 and no dropped frames in OBS. May be difficult to stream a multiplayer game with that low of upload. You really need more upload rather than good settings for low upload.

thanks dude, considering my current situation and the country I live on, upgrading my internet plan is not a choice, but I could get a decent quality, thanks for your help, this is the streaming channel: www.twitch.tv/ar_khey

Just a note, 0.8mbps is 800kbps. If you're running at 1800, you're trying to push WAY more data than your connection can even HOPE to handle, which is what's probably causing HLS to freak out and the delay to grow and grow like mad. Normal recommended max is 75% of your upload max, and tune up or down from there based on dropped frames. So you should be starting around 600kbps, with as low an audio bitrate as you can stand (I'd probably go for 550kbps video, and 96kbps AAC audio). Enough for maybe a 360p stream... possibly a 480p with some pretty gnarly pixellation and artifacting.

That assumes a single player game, too. For anything online multiplayer, reserving another 20% of the overall bandwidth is a good idea. And landing squarely in the 400-500kbps range means 240p-360p at most.
