It's my first time recording video and using OBS so forgive me if these questions seem stupid; I'm using an elgato HD 60S+, PS4, and my laptop has an Intel i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz processor, 8GB of RAM and an nvidia mx230 graphic card. Could you please tell me which output setting should i use?

Go to the Tools menu, Auto-Config Wizard, Recording. That's why the auto-config wizard runs the first time you install OBS.
That laptop is extremely weak though (U-variant CPUs are optimized for battery life and sacrifice performance heavily), and real-time video encoding is a very demanding task.
