Question / Help OBS server lag

For some reason a few times this week around 5 a.m pst~ my bitrate goes from 2600-2800 k/bs, goes from green and spikes down to yellow / red and then disconnects.
~also note that I was streaming for about 5 hours before this occurred.

any fixes to this?

It might be your ISP doing some maintenance during least activity hours.
Are you able to stream for long periods other than 5am?

You can call your ISP and ask them if they are responsible for this.
If this happens again, you can try turning off OBS and instantly running a speedtest.net test to see if it's ISP's fault.

I don't know if I would call the ISP personally, sometimes you just get lag for whatever reason. The disconnecting that comes with the frame drops might be something I can fix in the future, I'll have to look into it.

If we don't see data for five seconds, we close the TCP session. That might be increased slightly in the future, but it's going to remain fairly low.
