Question / Help OBS seems to think that my resolution is scaled down by 1.25 [FIXED]

Hi all.

I recently bought an ASUS ROG GL551 laptop (i7-4710HQ, NVIDIA GTX860M 2GB-VRAM) and have been having problems with streaming. It seems like OBS thinks that my resolution is scaled down by 1.25 whatever I change my Windows resolution to. If I try to use window capture it only gives me the first 1536x864 pixels from the top left when using 1920x1080. Game capture gives me the whole screen but the mouse cursor is still projected into the 1536x864 plane. I've googled this a bit and found out that some people have had similar issues but their solutions didn't help me at all. Anyone here had similar issues and found a solution?

What happens if you right click OBS > Properties > Compatibility > check the box next to "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and then run it?

Thank you so much, this seems to fix my problem! I'll try it out better when I get back from school :)
