OBS Screen Recording Makes Minecraft Lag

I am trying to screen record myself play Minecraft Java Edition for Youtube with OBS. However, whenever I have OBS recording, I can barely play Minecraft because of the painful amount of lagging. However, the game does not seem to lag much when I am not using OBS. I tried changing some video settings in Minecraft, but it didn't do much. Here is my log file:

If there is anything I should change, please let me know. I could really use some help.

(I tried playing on Bedrock Edition instead, but it lags just as much as Java.)

1. The Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling ("HAGS") feature in Windows is currently known to cause performance and capture issues with OBS, games and overlay tools. It's an experimental feature and we recommend disabling it via these instructions.
2. In Windows, we recommend that "Game Mode" be enabled. Game Mode can be enabled via the Windows "Settings" app, under Gaming > Game Mode.
3. One of your audio devices has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Headphones (JLab GO Work 2): 48000 Hz
Headset (JLab GO Work 2): 16000 Hz
4. Follow this guide, make sure you remove Display Capture and then add Game Capture:

5. Your log contains no recording session. Results of this log analysis are limited. Please post a link to a clean log file.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS.
2) Start your recording for at least 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Send that link here.

I turned off HAGS and I will be using game mode next time. For the audio, are you talking about the sample rate in the general section in Audio? If so, I only have two options: 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz. To restart OBS, do I just close it and reopen it?
