Question / Help OBS Screen Problems

When I record a video in OBS it works fine, in OBS it looks full screen, but when I put it into any editor, it comes out with black cut off's all around. Picture will be below. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS, AND I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.

Whats VLC? And what do you mean by played back, very new to editor/making videos.

VLC is a VERY good media player.

EDIT: I downloaded VLC, and it shoes up in VLC with black borders all around still.

Then nothing is wrong with the file itself. Any problems you're having with cropping are because of the editors you're using.

Every editor does this, maybe if you could tag some other people you know that might know?

You've been abandoned because it's not an OBS issue.

Yes it is, it has to be, maybe my personal settings, but you haven't tried to give a shit about telling me an idea of good settings, possibly your personally!

It is absolutely NOT OBS at fault. The video is coming up fine in VLC.

It's not an OBS issue, OBS preview doesn't show any black bars.

Is your OBS Preview set to 1:1 or scale to fit mode? http://jp9000.github.io/OBS/general/preview.html
Since you had the source selected but there were no red borders I am not sure we see the full preview.

Just saying, I went and tried xplit, works fine, it was OBS, and you declined it and failed to help, thanks Harold! You shouldnt go for moderator, ever.

@Jack0r extended a hand to help diagnose your issue. In a similar vein to @Jack0r's question, was VLC set to 1:1 zoom or something else (Video > Zoom)? Did VLC have "Always Fit Window" enabled, or disabled (Video > Always Fit Window)?
