Question / Help OBS scene crashing on record/stream with AverMedia LGP Lite

Greetings, I'm getting the following message if I start recording or streaming with a scene that has my capture card (AverMedia Live Gamer Portable Lite) solicited: "Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details."

This is usually followed by a crash. The problem only happens with a scene that has the capture enabled.
I tried reinstalling the cap drivers and OBS but no dice. No problems for recording/streaming with OBS Classic though.

You can't capture with the LGP and use its encoder at the same time. You have to choose one.

Thank you, but could you be more specific? How could I possibly fix this problem?
Any reason why it's not working in Studio 32-bit but fine in Classic 32-bit? My encoder is x264 in both.

There is no more info. You either use the LGP as a capture card or as an encoder. You can't do both.
