Question / Help OBS 'Save to disk' creating unplayable 6GB+ files

I am trying to stream and export to my PC concurrently, and I save in the .mp4 format. However after I try to watch the direct export, I simply have multiple 6GB files that are unplayable. I open them with VLC and 00:00 flashes on either end, as if the video is constantly looping, but less than a second long.

Any idea why these files will not export properly? Should I switch to FLV export method within OBS, or is there something that might be preventing this?
