Hello people
I have been playing around as I had some GPU issues in the last two days and impaired performance in games and I have resolved it. From clean drivers installed and other improvements. However, OBS is now back to where it eats up my GPU and Microsoft flight sim becomes stuttering while streaming.
Yes, I do not run everything high, like I said GPU runs around 60% when not streaming with everything off. I do not want to turn game settings even lower as it was going all fine up until I had to remove the GPU to get to the M.2 drive slot and now OBS is running higher than before.
Another thing is also why I keep dropping frames (network) yet I have super-speed internet and it's stable and OBS thinks otherwise

- So I have MSFS locked at 31fps on medium and while nothing running she's only using the maximum GPU of around 75% to 85%
- When OBS is running and not streaming she jumps up to 85% to 95% - depending on what I'm doing in the sim.
- As soon as I stream using my GPU to encode, OBS jumps up another 10% to 20% and MSFS FPS goes from 31FPS down to 20FPS
- From the task manager, OBS is using around 30% to 35% while streaming.
- Before I had a GPU issue I always had the same settings and streaming and MSFS together I always has 30FPS and so why NOW..?
- I decided to test stream using my CPU to encode and that's all fine while still having 30FPS using OBS to do CPU
