OBS Replay Buffer causing ingame frame stuttering

The game (Rocket League) runs perfectly fine (comparison between using replay buffer and not using replay buffer on in the photos) without replay buffer on, but the second I turn it on and go back to the game, all of my performance bars drop to the levels shown. When I've investigated if a maxed out GPU or CPU is the issue, I find that, with both the game and replay buffer running, I cap out on GPU at around 50%, and on CPU at around 40%.

Funnily enough, this error spontaneously emerged through no pattern or change I've made that I could remember or trace it back to. For the past year or so I have been using OBS replay buffer perfectly fine with no frame lag, but just in the past couple weeks, the issue spontaneously appeared (I would also say that it has now reappeared, since similar problems emerged when I tried to use other apps with replay buffer-like features, like NVIDIA GeForce Experience and Medal, but OBS was the best one I could find out of all those apps, and gave me no lag problems up until now, and it has an indispensable feature to me: audio/video track manipulation).

I feel like I've delved through every lag-related forum out there, on OBS forums, Steam forums, NVIDIA forums, and tried every available fix, but since none of them ever worked, I would always just put the settings back to what I had them at before the issue appeared (seen in the log files). I now feel truly lost.
