Question / Help OBS remote for MultiPlatform

Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone had an idea of how to run the OBS remote with the OBS Multi-Platform version. I've got a project where we're using an app that hooks into the OBS remote and triggers recording on the OBS app. But since I've been getting high CPU usage I was thinking of using OBS Multi-Platform to see if the CPU usage is better. But my app needs OBS remote to trigger the recording. Is there a version of OBS remote for the multiplatform?

there shouldn't be any substantial encoding "improvement" of OBS MP. the rewrite wasn't to optimize encoding, it was to write it in one language that was universal across multiple platforms.

As far as I am aware, plugins for OBS Classic are not compatible with OBStudio (MP). You'd need to contact the plugin's developer and see if they can re-write it for MP, if plugin support is active in MP yet.

But yes, as dping said, switching to MP isn't likely to fix high CPU situations to begin with as Classic and MP both use the same encoder library. It would be a better use of time to focus on fixing your settings and/or hardware instead.
