OBS Refusing to Let Me Have Two Audio Tracks

OBS is fighting me on trying to have two audio tracks when recording. The game audio and commentary. I've followed a few YT videos. switched each source being track 1 or two, and every time, OBS decides to record one source or none. At one point, I did something that made OBS decide to not save any recordings. I deleted all settings, and I'm back to the issue of OBS refusing to let me have two audio tracks.

According to your log, you actually record track 2 and track 3 from the 1-6 tracks OBS offers. The log shows these 2 tracks were physically written to the video file. Make sure you made appropriate assignments in OBS's advanced audio properties from your sources to the corresponding tracks.

These 2 tracks will show up as 2 distinct audio tracks in your media player, and you need switch between them. Media players will not mix tracks, so you are able to ever only listen to either one or the other track, but not both at the same time. You need a postprocessing tool for audio where you mix game audio and your commentary, then replace the 2 distinct tracks with the one mixed track.

Thank you. I have found that's what the problem was. Two tracks show up in my editing program but the media player would only play the first track.
