hello! im trying to install obs on windows 10, but it freezes file explorer when i try to run it. i cannot post a log, as i have yet to install it. any ideas?

Did you get the installer form this site? I wouldn't trust installer from elsewhere.
Does your PC meet the requirements listed in the OBS Studio Wiki https://obsproject.com/wiki/
Have you made sure your PC is free of malware? has enough RAM, CPU, etc.. (and/or its running unnecessary background processes)
